The McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston’s Department of Neurology is seeking a clinician/scientist to join the Division of Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology.  Candidates may be at any career stage, and will be recruited at a rank consistent with their experience.  Applications by established investigators are encouraged.  The Candidate will join a busy and growing subspecialty practice, and be a part of a dynamic department with all neurological specialties represented. In addition to our busy outpatient practice, we have a strong program in clinical trials and ongoing basic research efforts in immunology and imaging. We offer an academic environment with ample opportunities for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. This position is affiliated with the McGovern Medical School, the 6th largest medical school in the nation, a robust Neurology residency program and a Multiple Sclerosis Fellowship program.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The candidate will divide their time between research and patient care, with the allocation depending on the demands of their research program.  Research can be in any area relevant to MS and neuroimmunology.  Clinical responsibilities would include up to two days of clinic a week depending on funding. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be a graduate of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency and completed a relevant fellowship, with active board-certifications and be licensed or license eligible in the state of Texas.
